Relations extend between ASOIU and German Universities
Rector of Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU), Professor Mustafa Babanli met on October 27 with Matthias Schmidt, German professor on BBA and MBA programs visiting the university within the frames of cooperation with the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), head of DAAD Information Center in Baku Stefanie Dufaux and intern Franziska Lengerer.
At the meeting, featuring discussions about cooperation relations with German universities, Rector of ASOIU, Professor M. Babanli noted the successful continuation of bilateral relations, emphasizing that the joint cooperation is developing with a growing tempo.
Professor M. Babanli stressed the importance of bilateral exchanges to provide students with higher knowledge. Rector also added that certain measures are currently implemented in this regard, and soon it is planned to accept German students equal with the number of Azerbaijani students participating in the exchange. Noting the significance of the equal number of student exchange from both sides, Rector M. Babanli spoke about the interest of Azerbaijani students in the German language, adding that he is interested in German-taught training.
The guests expressed satisfaction with being in Azerbaijan and ASOIU, analyzed the cooperation opportunities, and noted their willingness to work on new projects.
The level of knowledge of Azerbaijani students, composition of programs, and disciplines were also discussed at the meeting.
