Education

From 1969 to 1975, he obtained a bachelor's degree and master’s degree in Devices of Precision Mechanics ​​at Leningrad Institute of Precision Mechanics and Optics.

From 1975 to 1978 , he pursued doctoral studies on " Theory of machines and mechanisms" at the Department of Precision Mechanics and Computer Technique at the Institute of  Precision Mechanics and Optics and in 1978, he was awarded a Doctorate from the Institute of Precision Mechanics and Optics.

Work experience

He started his career at ASOIU in 1979 as an Assistant professor. From 1984 Rafig Jamalov Associated Professor at ASOIU. From 1999 to 2007 he worked at the position of Dean of Petroleum Engineerin faculty. From 2007 to 2010 he served as Scientific Secretary of Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry university. Rafig Jamalov is a Vice-rector for International Affairs and Senior Lecturer at Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University since 2010.
