Student Sustainability Commitment

Our course "Greener Future: Bridging Borders" on science of future in collaboration with SPE METU student chapter and SPE ASOİU student chapter. During "Greener Future: Bridging Borders" course, participants gained knowledge on various topics related to what renewable energy is and its types and how to obtain and store it.

Beach cleaning event took place in Pirshagi. SPE (ASOİU) team came together as a community to make a positive impact on our environment. Plastic bags, glass, and rubber waste were found the most. To spread awareness about the vital importance of keeping our beaches clean and safeguarding our natural resources, events like these will continue.

Renewable Energy Competition is a thrilling opportunity for renewable enthusiast students to gather together and race their knowledge of this area and is organized by SPE BHOS, SPE ASOIU, and IMechE ASOIU Student Chapters.

"InfoMonth" series dedicated to Renewable Energy: "Floating Solar Panels"

"EnerGreen" course was organized by SPE. During the "EnerGreen" course, participants gained a comprehensive understanding of renewable energy sources, their environmental benefits, and how these technologies are playing a crucial role in the transition to a more sustainable and eco-friendly energy future.

Our renewable energy team hosted the first public session on 12.12.2021. The topic of the session was “An overview with a focus on solar energy”. Our honorable speaker of this session was Ahmad Fayad, an experienced engineer in his field in the Lebanon.
