Join the Movement: Become a Climate Campaigner Today!

Since May 2021, a coalition of 30 institutions spanning 16 different countries has united under a common banner: the "Campaigners" project. Led by ASOIU (Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University) and other esteemed partners, our mission is to empower citizens across the globe to join the fight against climate change and become #Climate Campaigners.
The "Campaigners" project is more than just a campaign; it's a movement. Rooted in rigorous behavioral research and aligned with local, national, and EU-level policy goals, we aim to catalyze citizen-driven change. By empowering individuals to adopt sustainable lifestyles, we pave the way for a greener, more resilient future.

Industry-Embedded Learning: Integrating Corporate Experience into Food Engineering Curriculum at ASOIU

In an innovative approach to education, ASOIU's food engineering students recently embarked on a sustainable learning journey through a visit to Dr.Milk. This collaborative initiative not only provided students with valuable industry exposure but also emphasized sustainable practices integral to the future of food engineering.
During the visit, students engaged in hands-on experiences, gaining firsthand knowledge of sustainable food production processes, waste reduction techniques, and energy - efficient practices implemented by the company.


ASOIU establishes COP29 Working Group and initiates "Green University" project

In light of Azerbaijan's declaration of 2024 as the "Green World Solidarity Year" and hosting the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29) in the capital city, a Working Group has been established at the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU). The establishment of the Working Group was deliberated during ASOIU's Academic Board and was supported by the Board members. Thus, at ASOIU, a Working Group related to COP29 has been formed, marking the initiation of the "Green University" project.
