The Scientific Council of ASOIU decided to establish the Sustainability Committee.
Structure of Sustainability Committee formed.
2018
First Sustainability Commitments and Goals (SCAG) drafted by the Sustainability Committee.
First Director of Sustainability and Energy Conservation position created. The position was half-time duties in sustainability, half-time in energy conservation.
2019
Under the supervision of the Sustainability Committee, a decision was made to strengthen the Student Science Society's concern for environmental protection projects proposed by students.
2020
Historic COVID-19 pandemic.
The educational program of 3 specialties related to Sustainability has been approved:
Food Engineering
Ecological Engineering
Power Engineering
2021
2019 Sustainability Commitments and Goals (SCAG) have been met and are retired.
The proposal for participation in the "CAMPAIGNERS" project, implemented with the support of the European Commission on the fight against climate change, was evaluated by the Sustainability Committee, and ASOIU started participating in the project.

Under the supervision of the Sustainability Committee, a decision was made by the vice-rectorate for scientific affairs to hold conferences on environmental protection and green world.
Due to the change in the university management, the director of the Sustainability Committee has also changed.
