Management of Human Resources

A set of rules titled "ASOIU's Recruitment Procedures for Various Structural Units Based on a 2-tier System" has been approved by the University's Academic Board. These rules have been formulated in accordance with the Labor Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the "Law on Education" of the Republic of Azerbaijan, other applicable legal acts of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the "ASOIU Charter," and in line with the progressive international and local practices in this field.

The selection process for specific positions at ASOIU follows the "Regulations on the Appointment of Department Heads, Deans, and Vice-Deans in Higher Education Institutions" endorsed by the Collegium of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan on November 15, 2017, along with other relevant normative-legal acts. The Human Resources Department exclusively manages the documentation process, adhering to the outcomes of the selection process.

During the termination of employment and labour relations, the requirements of the Labor Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the decision of the Collegium of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated December 20, 2017, No. 18-1, approving the " Unified tariff-qualification Reference Book for Service Positions in the Education Sector," the decision of the Collegium of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated November 15, 2017, No. 5/5, endorsing the "Regulations on the Appointment of Department Heads, Deans, and Vice-Deans in Higher Education Institutions," and other relevant legislative acts are taken into account.

SERP - This program is designed to access the personal information of the institution's employees related to their personnel and wage details. In this program, operations are carried out to process employees' cards, timesheets, wage information, business trip, maternity leave, suspension of maternity leave, unpaid leaves, labour leaves, educational leaves, and the systematization of all orders issued in the Human Resources Department.
