Student Trade Union Committee of Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) has joined to the campaign for the first time among the universities of the country entitled "Karabakh is Azerbaijan and exclamation point" initiated by the Youth Union of NAP Nasimi district branch. On October 4 more than a hundred ASOIU students in front of the university building took a photo with a poster reflected the statement of President Ilham Aliyev "Karabakh is Azerbaijan and exclamation point" and shared it on social networks by useing hashtags #İlhamlaİrəli, #KarabakhIsAzerbaijan and #YAPGəncləri.The aim is to draw the international public's attention to the fact that Armenia occupied Azerbaijani lands and that prevents peace and stability in the region by taking a destructive position in the negotiations.
Notably, on October 3, making a speech at the plenary session of the 16th Annual Meeting of the Valdai International Discussion Club held in the city of Sochi, the Russian Federation, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev stressed that the statement of the Armenian prime minister, “Karabakh is part of Armenia and the point” is a lie. “Karabakh is a historical and ancestral land of Azerbaijan. "Karabakh is Azerbaijan and the exclamation point,” the president added.
