On October 7, the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) hosted the event jointly organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Student Youth Organization of the university in connection to the demonstration of the documentary called "The great leader".

The event was attended by the ASOIU's Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs, Associate Professor Ata Babayev and representative of the Ministry of Youth and Sport Huseyn Babayev, Chairman of the Student Youth Organization of our University Mugaddas Azizade and students.

Firstly, Associate Professor Ata Babayev conveyed greeting of the ASOIU's Rector Mustafa Babanli to the event participants. Then he spoke about the life and activity of the great leader Heydar Aliyev, his invaluable merits to the establishment and development of modern Azerbaijan. He said that the foundation of today's modern education system, as in other developed areas in Azerbaijan, was laid by the great leader.

Then the documentary entitled "The great leader" was demonstrated.  The participants watched the film with great interest.
