Head of the ASOIU's Department of General and Applied Mathematics, Doctor of Mathematical Sciences, Professor Araz Aliyev attended the international conference on October 16-19 in Nur-Sultan, the capital of Kazakhstan. The conference entitled "Analysis, differential equations and actual problems of algebra", dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the first issue of the "Eurasian Mathematical Journal", was held by organization of Eurasian National University named after L.N Gumilyov. At the conference ASOIU's professor Araz Aliyev made a speech on "Essential Self-Adjointness of the Magnetic Helmholtz Operator".

Within the conference, Professor Araz Aliyev held scientific discussions with mathematicians from Kazakhstan, the Russian Federation, Italy, Germany, Japan, Greece and Kyrgyzstan and agreed to collaborate in the future.
