On October 28 the national holiday of India "Diwali" was marked at Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU).

Making a speech at the holiday event held by the organization of International Students Dean's Office of the university Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Associate Professor Gasim Mammadov promotion of ancient Indian culture to young people and congratulated Indian students on occasion with their national holiday.

In the artistic part of the event, students performed Indian dances and sang songs in Hindi.

Then the attendees were presented the national Indian sweets on occasion with the Diwali holiday and they were provided information on the national holiday Diwali.
