On December 11, the event dedicated to commemoration day of the national leader Haydar Aliyev was held at Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU).
At the event which began with the national anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan, dear memory of national leader Heydar Aliyev was remembered for a minute of silence. Then a video clip reflecting the life and activity of the great leader H.Aliyev was demonstrated.
Making a speech at the event, ASOIU's Rector, Professor Mustafa Babanli spoke about the the glorious life path and activities of great personality Heydar Aliyev and underlined the indispensable role of national leader in gaining of the independence of Azerbaijan, as well as the socio-political, economic and other important spheres of the country.
The editor-in-chief of the newspaper "Iki Sahil" Vugar Rahimzadeh spoke about the historical services of Heydar Aliyev in the Azerbaijani state and statehood. He noted that, from restoring political stability in the country to the rise of a level of modern and powerful state, all achievements of Azerbaijan are based on the national leader Heydar Aliyev's ideas and the political course for the future.
In his speech, head of the ASOIU's Department, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Huseynbala Miralamov spoke about the life of the great personality and noted that the memory of great leader will live in our peoples' hearts forever. He stressed that his life and the adherence to motherland is an example for the young generation.
