On December 11 the meeting of the collaborators of the “Justice for Khojaly” campaign Jabrail Farzaliyev and Parvana Jalalli with students was held at Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU).
Making a speech at the event, ASOIU's Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs Ata Babayev spoke about the history of Azerbaijan. He noted that, the brutality committed by Armenians against the civilians in Nagorno-Karabakh, the ancient land of Azerbaijan, as well as Khojaly is one of the most brutal among the world's crimes. Every Azerbaijani should know this and be ready to defend the motherland.
In his speech, the collaborator of the "Justice for Khojaly" campaign Jabrail Farzaliyev provided information about their activities. He underlined that this campaign was launched in 2008 on the initiative of the Vice President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva. The campaign aims to increase international awareness related to the Khojaly genocide, the historical reasons and consequences of the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, as well as the need for immediate, complete and unconditional withdrawal of Armenian forces from the Nagorno-Karabakh region and other areas.
Witnessing the Armenian crimes in Khojaly, Abulfat Karimov spoke about the brutalities committed by Armenian dashnaks against Azerbaijanis that night. He stressed the need to bring the exact facts about the Khojaly genocide to future generations and said that the day of vengeance against the enemy is not far.
Later, Parvana Jalalli, the collaborator of the “Justice for Khojaly” campaign, spoke about the campaign's activities both in the country and internationally. She noted that every Azerbaijani citizen should take an active part in the awareness and enlightenment of the Khojaly genocide.
