On December 16 the 68th Scientific and Technical Conference of Students dedicated to the 120th anniversary of Saleh Balay oglu Gojayev has been completed at Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU).

Making a speech at the closing ceremony, Rector of the university, Professor Mustafa Babanli spoke about the main purpose of the conference, shared his impressions in connection with the final, as well as provided information to the event attendees about the shortcomings and positive aspects of the conference. Rector M. Babanli noted that he attended several lectures on four sections. Touching upon the importance of better preparation for higher results, he underlined the significance of making some changes in the structure of the conference from next year.

Then the reports of the chairmen of the sections were heard. It was noted that 300 planned theses out of 406 passed the first stage.

At the end of the conference, the bachelor and master's students were awarded and 65 people were presented diplomas. 16 of them have ranked I, 21 - II, 16 - III and 12 encouraging places.

Making a speech, Alizade Elnur a student of the Faculty of Oil and Gas Production who ranked the first place expressed his impressions on the conference. He noted that it is the first time that he participates in such scientific conference and emphasized the importance of such conferences in raising youth awareness.
