On December 17 the event dedicated to the 150th anniversary of writer and playwright Jalil Mammadguluzadeh was held at Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU).

The event was attended by the collaborators, academic staff and students of the Department of Azerbaijani language.

Head of the Department of the Azerbaijani language, Professor Rustam Kamal spoke about the life and rich work of the prominent writer and playwright, publicist and public figure Jalil Mammadguluzadeh. Also, the collaborators of the Department made a wide report on the creativity of J.Mammadguluzadeh.

Then, the students performed monologues from the works of J. Mammadguluzade.
