On December 18, the seminar with the participation of foreign experts dedicated to the mechanisms of financing of startup projects was held at Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University.
At the seminar held within the framework of the events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of ASOIU, Rector of the university, Professor Mustafa Babanli welcomed the event attendees, shared his views on the topics to be discussed.He highlighted that the works in all areas are carried out at the university in the direction of improving the quantity as well as the quality. Speaking about the activity of students engaged in startup projects at the university, Rector Mustafa Babanli noted that all necessary conditions have been created for innovations and innovative young people, anyone who have innovative ideas in order to achieve successful results.
According to the agenda of the seminar, deputy chairman of The State Agency on Alternative and Renewable Energy Sources, head of the department of Professor Yusifbayli Nurali, Head of the Department of Energy Production Technologies at ASOIU, made a report on “Azerbaijan energy: at the intersection of past and future”. He provided comprehensive information to the participants about the topic and spoke about the role of the specialists trained by ASOIU in the development of this area.
Advisory Networking (PFAN) Coordinator for Azerbaijan and the Republic of Georgia, Nikolay Ilyin made a speech on “PFAN Web Portal and Startup Project Financing Mechanism”, Head of Technical Regulation Department of the State Agency for Alternative and Renewable Energy, Associate Professor Ramiz Kalbiyev on "Geothermal Energy Sources in the Republic of Azerbaijan". Then the discussions were held on reports.
