On December 20, with the organization of the Student Trade Union Committee (STUC) an intellectual competition "Brain ring" was held at the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU).

The competition was attended by 7 faculties of ASOIU, 10 teams consisting of the students of BBA, ZU programs, SABAH groups and the Azerbaijani-French University (UFAZ).

After the intense knowledge struggle, the team of the ASOIU's faculty of Economics and Management became ranked the 1st, the team of the faculty of Oil Mechanical Engineering ranked the 2nd and the BBA programs ranked 3rd places.

In the end, the winners of the competition were presented awards and cup.
