ASOIU's collaborators attended the event concerning promotion of the volunteer activity

Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation (ATUC) held the event on "Student Trade Union Committees is one of the basics of the volunteer movement".

The event, which attracted more than 100 students from 29 universities to the Winter Leadership School continued from February 11 to 13 in recreation center “Təhsil”, Nabran.

Making a speech at the opening ceremony, deputy chairman of the ATUC Agil Dadashov noted that Azerbaijan has played a special role in promoting and developing volunteer activity in recent years.

As a vivid example of this, the decree signed by President Ilham Aliyev shows that 2020 is declared a "Year of volunteers" in Azerbaijan.

The event was also attended by employees of the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University. Like other participants the ATUC collaborators of the university attended the conference that held within the framework of the event, visited the Guba cemetery and the Shahdag Tourism Complex.
