On June 22  Azerbaijan State  Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) and State Agency for the Use of Mineral Resources signed an agreement on cooperation. The main purpose of the document signed by ASOIU's Rector, Professor Mustafa Babanli and Chairman of the Board of the State Agency for the Use of Mineral Resources Samir Gurbanov is to provide graduates from the university in Geological Engineering, Hydrogeological Engineering, Environmental Engineering and Mining Engineering with jobs at the agency through a competition.

The meeting also featured discussion on the issues as  the implementation of joint projects and conducting scientific research between the parties.
