Within the framework of the project which ASOIU is partner the online international conference was held

On June 30, with the organization of ASOIU and Khazar University the virtual international conference entitled "Universities and Companies: Challenges and Perspectives in Partnership" was held within the framework of Unilab (610245-EPP-1-2019-1-BE-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP) project.

Opening the conference, Professor Hamlet Isaxanli, the founder of Khazar University and chairman of its  Board of Directors and Trustees stressed the importance of further expanding cooperation between universities and companies and wished success to the conference. The first section of the online conference, consisting of an introductory part and two plenary sessions attended by the Rector of the Khazar University Associate Professor Irada Khalilova,  Vice-Rector for International Affairs of Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University, Associate Professor Rafig Jamalov, Head of the National Erasmus + Office Parviz Bagirov, Deputy Head of the Department of Power and Energy Efficiency of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan Vusal Musayev.

At the conference held in an online format in accordance with the action plan against the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) epidemic in the world, as well as in Azerbaijan, a wide exchange of views were held on universities, their mutual scientific relations, challenges and perspectives.The active participation of speakers (listeners) from different countries and Azerbaijan made the conference even more productive. The conference was also attended by the speakers from SOCAR, Azerishig OJSC, AzerGold CJSC, Data SoCool, Baku Abadlig LLC, VTB Bank, Khazar University eLink Research and Development Center, and Turan Drilling & Engineering.

Notably, Pompeu Fabra University (Spain), University of Lille (France), Krems University (Austria), Gomel State University, Mogilev State University (Belarus), Orenburg State University, Siberian State University, Representatives of Lomonosov Moscow State University and Almetyevsk Oil University (Russia) also attend the Unilab project.
