French-Azerbaijani University (UFAZ) condemns the targeting of civilians and civil infrastructure in Azerbaijan since September 27, 2020.

 

UFAZ mourns over the loss of civilians and injured in Azerbaijan, offers condolences to the families of civilians and servicemen killed during military operations, and wishes the wounded speedy recovery.

 

UFAZ unequivocally supports the territorial integrity, sovereignty and inviolability of the internationally recognized borders of Azerbaijan, and hopes that the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict will be resolved as soon as possible within the norms and principles of international law and UN Security Council Resolutions 822, 853, 874 and 884. We believe that the settlement of this conflict will give a serious impetus to the establishment of peace and stability in the region.

 

We fully understand our responsibility as an educational institution in the current situation and do our best to fulfill our obligations in the field of education, to ensure that Azerbaijani youth receive proper education in accordance with international standards.
