ASOIU again transferred 50,000 manat to the Armed Forces Assistance Fund of the Republic of Azerbaijan, thus, the total amount of assistance provided by the university to the armed forces exceeded 200,000 manat.
Notably, on October 5, ASOIU transferred 50,000 manat to the Azerbaijan Armed Forces Assistance Fund conducting counter-offensive operations against the Armenian military provocation. The amount of funds transferred individually to the Fund by ASOIU collaborators amounted to 33,856 manat until October 9. On October 7 and 25, ASOIU provided assistance to our soldiers fighting in different parts of the front line.
Notably, ASOIU's assistance campaign to the Armed Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan is implemented in 4 directions.
Transfers from ASOIU's budget to the Armed Forces Assistance Fund;
Voluntarily transferring funds to the Armed Forces Assistance Fund by ASOIU's staff;
Direct assistance to soldiers on the front line at the expense of funds collected voluntarily by ASOIU's collaborators;
Direct assistance to the families of students, graduates and ASOIU's staff participating in the counter-offensive operations of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan against the provocations of Armenia.
In addition, ASOIU's staff and the Student Trade Union Committee continue the campaign in order to send parcels of warm clothes and other clothing to soldiers fighting on the frontline.
Continuing the campaign in support of the Armed Forces Assistance Fund of the Republic of Azerbaijan, ASOIU also actively fights against the information war conducted by Armenia against our country. More than 20,000 students and teaching staff of ASOIU expose Armenia's provocation and disinformation campaign in the virtual space through the university's facebook, instagram, telegram and other social network accounts, as well as personal accounts.
Today, like other compatriots, as well as dozens of graduates and collaborators of our university taking part in counter-offensive operations of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces, 20,000 students and teachers of ASOIU are ready at any time to participate in the battles for the liberation of our lands by the order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.
