Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) held the event on prevention of drug addiction, illicit trafficking in narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances.
In accordance with the existing health projects of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Education and other relevant government bodies, the event held on October 29 featured the discussion on human health and its protection, as well as the importance of avoiding bad habits.
The event was attended by ASOIU Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs, Associate Professor Ata Babayev, Chairman of the Student Trade Union Committee Namig Ganjayev, deputy deans of faculties, students and others. Making a speech, Associate Professor Ata Babayev noted that despite the war, as well as the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic, everything that is important for human health must be kept in focus and existing health norms must be followed. He said that at ASOIU, where many young people study, special attention is paid not only the study of students, but also to the protection of their health.
