ASOIU's well-known graduates in the world scientific community, Professor of the University of Florida Nazim Muradov and Professor of the University of Tel Aviv Lev Vilonevich Eppelbaum have been granted the title of Honorary Professor of ASOIU.

The decision about this has been made at the meeting of the ASOIU's Academic Board on October 1, 2020. Providing comprehensive information on both candidates, ASOIU's Rector, Professor Mustafa Babanli made proposal on granting them the title of honorary professor. The proposal was put the voted by the members of the Academic Board and adopted unanimously.
