ASOIU's Rector makes a report at the Caspian Energy Forum

The Caspian Energy Forum titled "Caspian Energy Development - Areas of Innovative Cooperation" within the framework of the "Caspian Dialogue" International Economic Forum, organized and attended by the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Nature, Energy, Economic Development, Rossotrudnichestvo agency, the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS) and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry was held on December 8.

The main goal of the "Caspian Energy Forum 2020" is to stimulate the development of effective energy cooperation between the Caspian region countries on the basis of the Convention on the Legal Status of the Caspian Sea and the Agreement on Trade and Economic Cooperation between the Caspian littoral states signed in Avaza in August 2018.

The forum featured discussion on issues such as the environmental situation, monitoring and technological modernization perspectives of industrial and energy facilities of the Caspian countries, geology and geophysics, as well as the application of technological innovations in the extraction and transportation of hydrocarbon resources.

The international forum was attended by the participants of the representatives from different countries, A.I.Bednov, Deputy Director General of the Russian Energy Agency under the Russian Ministry of Energy, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation V.I. Kalyujnıy, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Scientific Director of RAS's Institute of Oil and Gas Problems A.N. Dmitrievsky, the first Vice-President of ANAS Academician Ibrahim Guliyev, the Rector of ASOIU, Professor Mustafa Babanli and others. ASOIU's Rector Professor Mustafa Babanli made a report on "Personnel training for the oil and gas complex in modern times".
