On January 11 Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) held online exam session of the fall semester. The exams started at 09:00 am in 229 groups and the same conditions were created for all students. Students have been presented tickets containing 5 questions and each question will be evaluated with 0-10 points. Due to a high level of technical maintenance for conducting online exam, there was no any problem during the exam.
Notably, in order to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic in the country, online education has been started due to the suspension of education in all educational institutions. Therefore, the preparation of students for the exam has been organized in an online format, and the students were compromised before the exam. Thus, mid-terms were held not on a 10-week education program which should be held in the fall semester, but on topics that were taught to students for five weeks. At the same time, the requirements for student presentations (independent work) have significantly been softened compared to the requirements of previous years. In addition, exam questions will be compiled only on the taught topics and difficult presentation questions will not be presented as exam questions.
It should be noted that the online fall exam session started today at ASOIU, will end on February 6.
