The international conference on "Reconstruction and restoration in post-conflict situations" jointly organized by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources and Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) was held

The conference was attended by Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Mukhtar Babayev, ASOIU's Rector Professor Mustafa Babanli and other official guests.

The international conference featured discussion on reconstruction, restoration in post-conflict situations, long-term effects of conflict, climate change, priorities of economic policy, economic security, restoration of cultural and historical sites, education, science, theoretical issues of post-conflict policy and planning.

55 reports were heard during the two-day conference sessions.
