According to the results of the exam session of the fall semester of the 2020/2021 academic year, 83.91% of students studying at bachelor's and master's degrees at ASOIU receive scholarships, which is an indicator of high knowledge of students demonstrated in the educational process.

48% of all students at the university receive excellent and incentive scholarships. Students who receive excellent and incentive scholarships on master's degree constitute 88.3% of master's students. 21% of all students studying in bachelor's and master's degree and who received scholarship are students studying on a paid basis.

According to the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, starting from 2016, the provision of scholarships in subjects for students studying on a paid basis for their academic achievements by taking into account their overall average achievements has led to the further development of a competitive environment among students.
