On‌ ‌March‌ ‌9,‌ ‌the‌ ‌meeting‌ ‌between‌ ‌the‌ ‌General‌ ‌Director‌ ‌of‌ ‌ANAS‌ ‌Institute‌ ‌of‌ ‌Control‌ ‌Systems,‌ ‌Academician‌ ‌Ali‌ ‌Abbasov‌ ‌and‌ ‌the‌ ‌Rector‌ ‌of‌ ‌ASOIU,‌ ‌Professor‌ ‌Mustafa‌ ‌Babanli‌ ‌was‌ ‌held‌ ‌at‌ ‌Azerbaijan‌ ‌State‌ ‌Oil‌ ‌and‌ ‌Industry‌ ‌University‌ ‌(ASOIU). The meeting was also attended by the Executive Director ANAS Institute of Control Systems, Corresponding Member of ANAS Aminaga Sadigov, ASOIU's Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Professor Rauf Aliyarov, Head of the Department of "General and Applied Mathematics", Professor Araz Aliyev.

 During the event, featured discussion on bilateral cooperation, the opportunities of the HPC Center (High Performance Computing) at ASOIU and its role in the development of science were discussed. It was decided that ANAS Institute of Control Systems can use the capabilities of the HPC Center during large calculations.Later, an agreement was signed between the institute and the university in order to cooperate in this direction. The document was signed by the rector of ASOIU, Professor Mustafa Babanli and the General Director of ANAS Institute of Control Systems, , Academician Ali Abbasov.
