On May 26 the next online meeting of Academic Board was held at Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University. Speaking about the processes taking place in the world and in our country in the context of the coronavirus pandemic and the statistics of the pandemic, ASOIU's Rector, Professor Mustafa Babanli emphasized the importance of measures taken to prevent the spread of the epidemic and promote vaccination. He noted that the works corresponding the current trends are carried out at ASOIU.
Professor Mustafa Babanli after providing information to the meeting attendees about the issues on the agenda a number of issues arising from the reforms carried out at the university were discussed and reports were heard.
The annual report of the executive director of the Azerbaijan-French University Vazeh Askerov on the activities of this university was heard. Director of the Analytical Center for Science and Education, Associate Professor Ziya Aliyev made a report on the activities of the center, the scientific results of the university, the carried out in this direction and future goals, as well as director of the IT Department Elnur Safarli made a report on the activities of the Department.
At the meeting of the Academic Board, ASOIU's Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Associate Professor Gasim Mammadov provided comprehensive information on the structural changes carried out at the university. After the discussion of members of the Board, innovations and changes conducted in accordance with the development of the university have been put to a public vote and approved.
Ata Babayev, Associate Professor, ASOIU's Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs made a speech on coordination of attention and care for the families of AzII graduates (as well as our veterans) became martyr in the Great Patriotic War, Bahruz Nazarov, Director of the Public Relations and Marketing Department of the University, provided information on the results of the X Alumni-Career Exhibition and the achievements in this direction, also Salman Salmanov, Deputy Director of the IT Department, made a speech on the analysis of the official websites of the university and the planned innovations.
After hearing and discussing all issues by the members of the Board, Rector Mustafa Babanli provided recommendations on the work to be done, successes and innovations. He noted that each issue discussed is a key nuance in the development of ASOIU, and we must make innovations in line with the development of the university to achieve the goal.
