On June 18 Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) held an event dedicated to the remembrance day of the National Hero Mubariz Ibrahimov. The online event was attended by the ASOIU's Rector Professor Mustafa Babanli, Head of the Museum of Azerbaijan’s Military History Colonel Azizagha Ganizade, as well as the academic staff and students of the university.

Commenced with the national anthem, the event was followed by a minute of silence for the commemoration of martyrs.
Later, making a speech, ASOIU's Rector, Professor Mustafa Babanli noted that the courage of National Hero Mubariz Ibrahimov is an example for every Azerbaijani youth and spoke about the life and bravery of our hero. He noted that the courage demonstrated by Ibrahimov 11 years ago introduced the strength of the Azerbaijani Army to the world and led to grow hundreds and thousands of fighters like Mubariz.The Rector added that today the soul of Mubariz is in peace, because the motherland for which he became martyr was liberated from the enemy by the invincible Azerbaijani Army within 44 days.

Speaking about the battle path of National Hero Mubariz Ibrahimov, Head of the Museum of Azerbaijan’s Military History Colonel Azizagha Ganizade, ASOIU's collaborator, participant of the Great Patriotic War, veteran Niyaz Zeynalov underlined that such fighters will always live in our hearts and be an example to our youth. The veteran Niyaz Zeynalov stressed that during the 44-day war, each fighter tried to be same like Ibrahimov and show heroism like him.
