ASOIU's new project has received a certificate of compliance with international standards

On June 23 Hydasun Rapid Solutions LLC presented a certificate of new model "Zafar" ZMS100x70 type valve compliance with international standards developed within the framework of University Project at ASOIU. "Zafar" ZMS100x70 valve within the framework of the University Project, at the initiative of the ASOIU's Rector Professor Mustafa Babanli, under the leadership of Associate Professor Jamaladdin Aslanov, temporary acting head of the Department of "Industrial machines" and jointly with Neftgazmash OJSC has been established in in 2019.

The event was attended by ASOIU's Rector, Professor Mustafa Babanli, academic staff who took part in the establishment of the project as well as Vahid Hajiyev, Chairman of Board at “Neftgazmash” OJSC, Ion Paton, General Manager of Hydrasun for Azerbaijan, Head of the Testing Department of the same company Elnur Habibov and test expert Elnur Namazov, representative of Umid Babek Operating Company Mahammad Kazimli.

At the event ASOIU's Rector, Professor Mustafa Babanli noted that he is pleased with the positive results of such a project.He noted that as a university, we are interested in cooperation with government agencies and companies, and will continue to expand our cooperation.

During the event, it was noted that the new "Zafar" ZMS100x70 valve is intended to be used in 70MPa working pressure in aggressive environments in the fountain fittings used for oil and gas extraction and in drilling manifolds used for drilling oil and gas wells. After initial testing, certification of the valve for compliance with international standards based on the appeal of “Umud Babek” International Operating Company to ASOIU regarding the application of this valve to the drilling process has been conducted by Hydasun Rapid Solutions LLC.

At the end, certification of the "Zafar" ZMS100x70 valve for compliance with international standards was presented to the Rector Mustafa Babanli by Ion Paton, head of the Baku office of Haydras.
