On September 16-17, the meeting of the Rector of the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU), Professor Mustafa Babanli with the second-year students continued. The meeting was held taking into account all the necessary instructions (keeping social distance and following hygiene rules) set by the Ministry of Education to prevent the spread of the disease during the coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic. At the beginning of the meeting with the participation of students of Chemical Technology, Oil Mechanical Engineering, and Power Engineering Faculties, were honored with a minute of silence in memory of the Patriotic War martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan. Then, Rector, Professor Mustafa Babanli informed the students about the conditions created to start studying in the traditional form at the university from September 29. Emphasizing the importance of the health and safety of university staff and students, the Rector spoke about the need for vaccination against the virus in the country. He noted that the ASOIU's academic staff took an active part in the vaccination process, and it was very important for students to be vaccinated promptly.
During the meeting, Rector M. Babanli, speaking about the work done to ensure quality education in the 2021-2022 academic year, about the responsibilities of students and teachers, wished all students success in the new academic year. In the end, students received answers to their questions.
