ASOIU holds the first “Open microphone” in the new academic year

On October 9, an "Open Microphone" was held at the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU). Along with the students and faculty who attended the assembly hall, ''Open Microphone'' was also broadcast live on the university's Facebook page, and hundreds of students joined the event online.

Rector of ASOIU Professor Mustafa Babanli first spoke about the historic victory of the Azerbaijani army in the 44-day Patriotic War, the unparalleled importance of this victory for our country. He noted that despite the end of the war, the struggle is still ongoing, so it is important to be educated and literate. The memory of all the martyrs who died in the 44-day Patriotic War was honored with a minute of silence.

Then the Rector Mustafa Babanli spoke about the quality of teaching and education at ASOIU and informed about the work done. According to him, despite the period of the pandemic, the state of preparation for the new academic year is satisfactory and all conditions have been created for a good education at the university.

Noting that important work is being done to organize quality education and training of qualified personnel, M. Babanli explained many issues related to teaching in the "Open Microphone". During the event, the Rector traditionally answered the questions of students who joined online and present in the hall. At the end, he commented on the shortcomings and suggestions and gave directions on how to implement the issues that need to be addressed.
