ASOIU is represented at the EU Sustainable Energy Week

On October 25th-29th, organized by the Council of European Energy Regulators (CEER), The European Network for Cyber Security (ENCS), the Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA) and the European Union, EU Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW) took place. Master students and bachelors from the Faculty of Oil and Gas Production of the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) took part in Sustainable Energy Week online courses. The online courses were attended by specialists and students from different countries - Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine, Belgium, Austria, Greece and other countries. The courses covered Energy Regulation Fundamentals, Electricity Markets, Energy System Modeling and Planning, The Role of Gas in the Energy Transition Network Policy and Regulation.

At the end of the course, an exam was held among the participating students. ASOIU student Rufan Yusifov took 5th place among a large number of participants. Following the exam, one participant was also eligible to participate in courses in Brussels, Belgium, in 2022.

Notably that Maysara Laidzhova, Chingiz Karaev, Mehdi Mehdizadeh, Elchin Suleymanzade, Zinyat Goyushova, Tural Makhmudov, Gamzat Khudulov, Gunduz Makhmudov, Nigar Eybatova, Ilaha Mammadova, Bilal Ismailzade, Yusif Axundzade, Kanan Akhmedov, Rufan Yusifov and Magamed Yakubov are the students of ASOIU who took part in the Sustainable Energy Week.
