The delegation headed by the Chairman of the Council of Higher Education of the Republic of Turkey, Erol Ozvar, who is on a visit to Azerbaijan, and the Minister of Education Emin Amrullayev, visited the Azerbaijan-French University (UFAZ) at the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU).

ASOIU Rector, Professor Mustafa Babanli and UFAZ Executive Director Vazeh Asgarov informed the guests about UFAZ. The Turkish delegation visited auditoriums and laboratories, were acquainted with the conditions created for students.

Welcoming the guests at the university, Rector Professor M. Babanli spoke about the UFAZ project, the educational process at UFAZ, educational infrastructure, exchange of students and teachers, and laboratories, the material and technical base of the university.

Chairman of the Council of Higher Education of Turkey E. Ozvar thanked the warm welcome and highly appreciated UFAZ as an essential project in higher education of the two countries, noting that it would be helpful to use this experience with universities in other countries.

A video presentation of the educational process at UFAZ was shown at the meeting. They discussed the study of UFAZ practice, future projects and prospects, and opportunities for cooperation.
