On December 7, a full member of the Polish Academy of Sciences, an honorary doctor of Science ASOIU, Professor Janusz Kacprzyk, invited by the university, visited the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU).

The guest first visited the Azerbaijan-French University (UFAZ) laboratories, attended laboratory classes, and was acquainted with the material and technical base.

Then he visited the ASOIU Laser Center, the Department of Higher Mathematics, the History Museum of ASOIU, the Museum of Mineralogy, and modern auditoriums equipped with new equipment, Azİİ e-Book House, Kapital Bank room and Lukoil corner.

After getting to know the university, Professor J. Kacprzyk met with the ASOIU Rector, Professor Mustafa Babanli. Welcoming the guest, the Rector, Professor M. Babanli, informed about the university's history, taught specialities, famous graduates, international cooperation, new projects, scientific research carried out at the university and UFAZ.

Expressing his satisfaction with the presence at the university, Professor J. Kacprzyk thanked the Rector, Professor M. Babanli, for the warm welcome and excellent hospitality. Professor J. Kacprzyk highly appreciated the level of the educational process, the auditoriums and laboratories created at ASOIU, noting that the university has opportunities for scientific research, especially in the field of artificial intelligence. Speaking about the importance of developing scientific cooperation between higher educational institutions of Poland and ASOIU, Professor J. Kacprzyk said that to achieve results in this area, it is necessary to implement new projects.

At the end of the meeting, the guest was presented with gifts.
