On December 13, the Rector of the Turkish Karabuk University, Professor Refik Polat, visited the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) with a delegation.
During the visit, the Rector of the Karabuk University, Professor R. Polat and the accompanying delegation visited the Azerbaijan-French University (UFAZ) operating under the ASOIU, examined the laboratories, auditoriums and the material and technical base of the university. Then the delegation visited the ASOIU Laser Center, the Mineralogy Museum, modern laboratories and learned about the conditions created at the university.
After getting acquainted with the university, the Rector of ASOIU, Professor Mustafa Babanli, met with the delegation. Rector M. Babanli noted that he is glad to see guests at the university. He spoke in detail about the specialities taught at ASOIU, modern laboratories, and joint projects and double programs.
During the meeting, the rectors discussed the cooperation of the two universities, the use and the importance of dual programs for the development of universities, joint use of laboratories, and student exchange in certain specialities.
