The book "Ölümü ömür seçənlər" is presented at the AzII e-Book House

On December 21, Azİİ e-Book House of the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) hosted a presentation of Yagut Bahadurgyzy's book "Ölümü ömür seçənlər" dedicated to the martyrs of the 44-day Patriotic War.

The presentation was attended by the Vice-Rector of ASOIU for Scientific Affairs, doctor of technical sciences Latafat Gardashova, Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs, Associate Professor Ata Babayev, director of Azİİ e-Book House Salahat Mahmudova, head of the Department of Social Sciences, Professor Jamal Mustafayev, senior teacher Konul Abdullaeva, the book's author Yagut Bahadurgyzy, the book's editor, Professor Gabil Mammadov, as well as martyr's family members and students.

Speaking at the event, the director of Azİİ e-Book House, Salahat Mahmudova, said that the martyrs who wrote heroic history in the 44-day war would forever live in the hearts of the Azerbaijani people. Many books and articles will be written about them.

Then a video about the martyrs of the Patriotic War was shown.

Further, the event participants, expressing their opinion, noted the book's value dedicated to the martyrs, who inscribed their names in golden letters in the history of the Victory of Azerbaijan. Martyrs' families' members shared their memories of their loved ones who died for their Motherland and talked about their short but glorious life path.

At the end of the event, the book was donated to Azİİ e-Book House.

It should be noted that the book "Ölümü ömür seçənlər" is dedicated to 39 martyrs of Kurdamir, who died heroically in the 44-day war. The book widely reflects the memories of each martyr's relatives, friends, and associates. The book's author is Yagut Bahadurgyzy Ashrafova, Doctor of Philosophy, Head of the Aran Regional department of the National Museum of Azerbaijan Literature named after Nizami Ganjavi of ANAS, a member of the Writers' Union of Azerbaijan. She is also the author of "Həsrət", "Vurğunam nəğməyə, sözə", "Hay ver mənə cənab leytenant" and many others.
