On December 29, an event dedicated to the International Solidarity Day of Azerbaijanis and the New Year was held at the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) with the participation of the faculty.
Rector of ASOIU, Professor Mustafa Babanli, congratulated all university employees, including students, on the upcoming holidays. Recalling that the International Solidarity Day of Azerbaijanis last year was not celebrated live due to the coronavirus pandemic, Rector M. Babanli noted that thanks to Azerbaijan's effective fight against COVID-19, this date continues to be traditionally celebrated in the university assembly hall this year. Having reported on the essence and the history of the celebration of the International Solidarity Day of Azerbaijanis, the Rector spoke about the goals for the coming year. With the hope that this important date will be celebrated in the world that defeated the coronavirus next year, Rector M. Babanli congratulated all university staff and students on the International Solidarity Day of Azerbaijanis and the New Year, wished health and prosperity to all employees, students and their relatives.
