On February 2, the Rector of the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU), Professor Mustafa Babanli, met with the heads of departments and deans.
At the meeting, the parties exchanged views on improving the level of education at ASOIU and the results of the winter examination session.
Rector Professor Mustafa Babanli said that the organization and results of the winter examination session at ASOIU were generally satisfactory. He noted that the quality of curricula and placement of materials should be ensured by the heads of departments, tutors, responsible persons of the department and IT before the start of each semester. The control of presentations should also be strengthened. During the meeting, it was noted that if there is a case of cheating during the examinations, the following session exams of this group will be held only in writing. And in addition to taking action against negative situations, it is necessary to investigate and eliminate the causes of their occurrence.
During the meeting, the Rector, Professor Mustafa Babanli, also touched upon issues related to scientific activities. According to him, in addition to existing seminars, hybrid and interdepartmental seminars should be organized to improve the scientific level of masters. And also, should carefully check the thesis and articles submitted for the dissertation.
At the end, Professor M. Babanli expressed his comments and suggestions and instructed future work.
