On February 17, the Rector of the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU), Professor Mustafa Babanli, met with the director of the Tbilisi Regional Office of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) Gebhard Reul and the delegation.
Welcoming the guests at the university, Rector Professor Mustafa Babanli spoke about education, exchange programs, cooperation and new projects at ASOIU. Noting that ASOIU has long-term collaboration in teaching and scientific research with many prestigious universities in Germany, Rector Professor M. Babanli emphasized the important role of DAAD in expanding scientific links and exchange processes.
Expressing satisfaction with his stay at ASOIU, the director of the DAAD Tbilisi Regional Center, G. Royle, noted that they are interested in cooperation with the university. G. Roil spoke about the involvement of German teachers in teaching at ASOIU in the oil and gas industry and the organization of German language courses, new prospects, and areas of cooperation.
During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on double diploma programs and scholarships and the organization of German language courses. Rector M. Babanli emphasized the importance of DAAD support in certifying students studying German at the university.
At the end of the meeting, guests were presented with souvenirs.
