AzII e-Book House hosts the presentation of a book dedicated to ASOIU's martyr

On March 1, AzII e-Book House of the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) hosted the presentation of the book "I am Ali" and the photo album "If I don't return, let the memory of me remain", dedicated to martyr Alihuseyn Elshad oglu Mammadov.

The event was attended by the mother of the martyr Arzu Mammadova and his relatives, ASOIU Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs, Associate Professor Ata Babayev, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Energy Gulaya Mammadova, Head of the Department of Energy Production Technology, Associate Professor Shukur Nasirov, other employees of the department and students.

Opening the presentation, Salahat Mahmudova, director of AzII e-Book House, informed the participants about the event. ASOIU Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs, Associate Professor Ata Babayev, spoke about the brave sons of Azerbaijan, heroic martyrs, including the feat of martyr Aliguseyn Mammadov. After the mother of our martyr, A. Mammadova shared her son's memories.

The book, authored by Suraya Khalil, tells about the life of martyr Alihuseyn Mammadov, a participant in the 44-day Patriotic War. It also includes memories of A. Mammadov's parents and groupmates, poems and photographs of different periods of his life. A. Mammadov, who took part in the battles in the Fuzuli, Jabrayil, Khojavend directions and died heroically, was awarded the medals "For the Motherland", "Brave Fighter", "For the Liberation of Fuzuli".

The event participants also got acquainted with the book exhibition "Karabakh is Azerbaijan, Victory belongs to Azerbaijan", organized by AzII e-Book House. The collection includes books dedicated to the brave sons of Azerbaijan who fell in the 44-day war and the battles for Karabakh in general and the graduates-martyrs of ASOIU.
