On March 10, several officials of the State Employment Agency, headed by Chairman of the Board Mustafa Abbasbeyli, visited the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU). Having met with ASOIU Rector, Professor Mustafa Babanli, the guests discussed promising projects and new goals of bilateral cooperation. Rector Professor Mustafa Babanli informed the guests about the activities of ASOIU, about the University's HPC Center. He said that the university achieves scientific results by improving the quality of teaching and education and strives to provide educated personnel training for our people and state. Noting that significant progress has been made in this direction in recent years, Rector Professor Mustafa Babanli said that the level of employment of ASOIU graduates is encouraging. He added that the State Employment Agency had achieved a lot with modern, new approaches to increasing the level of employment of our people and providing suitable jobs for young people, and as a university, we are interested in cooperation with the agency and we hope that this cooperation will yield high results.
Chairman of the Board of the State Employment Agency Mustafa Abbasbayli expressed satisfaction with the cooperation with such a higher educational institution. He informed about the agency's activities, its goals and results. According to him, cooperation with educational institutions results in training specialists necessary for the labour market and increasing employment. The Head of the Agency also spoke about the development of cooperation with ASOIU in production and vocational training, noting that the establishment of collaboration will be promising for both parties.
After exchanging views and discussing prospects for cooperation, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the parties.
