The university Futsal Championship has started at the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) by the Student Trade Union Committee (STUC) organisation. The teams that will compete in the championship are formed from the respective university groups.

Currently, 52 teams have registered to participate in the competition, and 37 teams have taken part in the first stage. It should be noted that the championship will continue after the holidays.
