The project "Increasing girls' participation in engineering education for sustainable development", implemented by the Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) with the support of UNESCO, has been completed.
At the event dedicated to "Students' Career Expectations", Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of AzTU Nurali Yusifbeyli spoke about the importance of the work done on the project and highly appreciated the results.
Then, the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) coordinator for vocational education, Zahra Amrahova, presented the topic "Public-Private Partnership, the Role of Career Centers AzTU Lawyer Parvana Allahverdiyeva presented "Let's know our Labor Rights!" and Matanat Pashayeva, the Chief Specialist for Projects and Exchange Programs, on "Self-Employment in Engineering and Consulting Services: Challenges and Opportunities".
The event was attended by female students of Azerbaijan Technical University, Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU), Baku Engineering University and Baku Higher Oil School.
Along with female students from other universities, 15 students of ASOIU took part in the project, and each of them was awarded a certificate. University employees who were directly involved in the successful implementation of the project were also granted letters of thanks.
