On April 20, a meeting dedicated to the 55th anniversary of the Baku Metropolitan was held at the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU).
Representatives of the Baku Metropolitan CJSC, university' students studying electrical, mechanical and information technology, and academic staff participated in the meeting within the “Step into the Future Together with Us” project.
Opening the event, ASOIU Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs, Associate Professor Ata Babayev, conveyed the greetings of the Rector, Professor Mustafa Babanli, to the participants and congratulated the representatives of the Baku Metropolitan CJSC on their anniversary.
Head of the Metro Training Center Rufat Gadashov, who made a presentation at the event, spoke about the history of the Baku Metro, innovations and projects implemented in the metro in recent years, and cooperation.
Deputy Head of the Metro Training Center Rizvan Bayramov spoke about the conceptual scheme for developing the Baku Metro, the existing infrastructure and essential projects aimed at improving the efficiency of the Metro. He made a presentation on the operation of metro stations, changes in the selection of new staff, train drivers, platform guards, and the workflow and safety measures for interns in other areas.
At the end, answers were given to students' questions.
