On April 20, a meeting was held at the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) with Nadirbek Yusupbekov, professor, doctor of technical sciences, full member of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Head of the department of automation of production processes at Tashkent State Technical University.

The meeting was attended by ASOIU Rector, Professor Mustafa Babanli, vice-rectors, and the university academy staff.

Expressing satisfaction with the meeting of the guests at the university, the Rector, Professor M. Babanli, spoke about the wide educational ties with Uzbekistan universities, joint projects and cooperation with the Tashkent State Technical University.

Conveying satisfaction with his presence at ASOIU, Professor N. Yusupbekov spoke about the development of bilateral relations and noted that the exchange of research projects and the faculty members with such a higher educational institution is significant for them. Professor N. Yusupbekov spoke about the successor of the legacy of Lutfi Zadeh, director of BA programs at ASOIU, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Rafik Aliyev, his scientific activities and the role of the great scientist in the development of science.

Then Professor Rafik Aliyev was presented with a document confirming the title of "Honorary Professor" of the Tashkent State Technical University and the Honorary Diploma of the University.
Professor R. Aliyev thanked the Tashkent State Technical University and Professor N. Yusupbekov for the honorary title and the attention paid to him and said he would do everything possible to develop relations.
