Scientific Conference of Young Researchers and Doctoral Students is held at ASOIU

On April 28, the Scientific Conference of Young Researchers and Doctoral Students dedicated to the 99th anniversary of national leader Heydar Aliyev started at the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU).
The conference's opening ceremony was attended by ASOIU Rector, Professor Mustafa Babanli, vice-rectors, academic staff and young doctoral students.
Speaking at the event that began with the performance of the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Rector Professor M. Babanli talked about the youth policy laid down by the great leader Heydar Aliyev, noting that in continuation of this policy, young people are attracted to study at foreign universities within the framework of the state program, as well as increased their role in scientific research. He also noted that young scientists have a great responsibility in developing science, especially in artificial intelligence.
Then, ASOIU Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs, Professor Latafat Gardashova, spoke about the role of the conference in the activities of young researchers and the importance of their participation in such events.
Elnur Hasan, a young researcher at the Ganja branch of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS), spoke about the importance of the conference and the conditions created for young researchers.
ASOIU doctoral students and young researchers made presentations – Rashad Shikhiyev's "Application of a fuzzy approach to the assessment of water quality index", Tunzala Ahmadova's “Forecast sales of computer products by categories in the Azerbaijani market”, Nurlan Mustafaev "Impact of water injection on well productivity".
It should be noted that the two-day conference will include plenary sessions in various sections (Chemistry, Chemical Technology, Ecology, Geology and Geophysics, Development of oil and gas fields, Mechanics and mechanical engineering, Energy and energy resources, Automatic and informatics, Economics and Management).
The conference will end on April 29th.
