On April 29, the closing ceremony of the Scientific Conference of Young Researchers and Doctoral Students dedicated to the 99th anniversary of national leader Heydar Aliyev was held at the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU).

The event was attended by ASOIU Rector, Professor Mustafa Babanli, vice-rectors and university academic staff.

Speaking at the discussion of the conference results, the Rector of the university, Professor Mustafa Babanli, talked about the importance of the conference and emphasised the need for serious scientific research to achieve better results and good preparation.

Then the reports of the chairpersons of the sections were heard.

It should be noted that the two-day conference included meetings in 8 sections. Of the 122 abstracts submitted to the conference, 105 were accepted. 8 abstracts were in Russian, 7 in English and the rest in Azerbaijani.
