On May 7, another “Open Microphone” was held at the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU).
The event was attended by ASOIU Rector, Professor Mustafa Babanli, teachers and students of the university.
Speaking about the latest situation with the Covid-19 pandemic, the Rector, Professor M. Babanli, talked about the weakening of the quarantine regime in the country and at the university and traditional education.
Informing about the preparation process for the spring examination session of the 2021/2022 academic year, the Rector, Professor M. Babanli, brought to the attention of the event participants the work done to improve the quality of education and the level of preparation of students for exams.
Noting that the Alumni Career Center regularly works to provide jobs and integrate ASOIU students into the labour market, Rector Professor M. Babanli pointed out that the traditional Alumni Career Exhibition will be held offline with the participation of partner companies.
Rector M. Babanli gave detailed information about the university's international relations, achievements in scientific work, new projects implemented jointly with foreign universities, attracting international students to the university, accredited specialities, innovations to improve students' foreign language skills, as well as the activities of the centre HPC, preparation for the Alumni Career Exhibition and other issues.
Rector M. Babanli also commented on the shortcomings and gave instructions on implementing issues that need to be addressed.
At the end, the participants' questions were answered.
